LETTER FROM MORNE AND CHANTELLE BLOKDYK

We love the church!

We are a conversational organization and are starting conversations that will shine the light to expose the darkness and set the captives free!

We absolutely love the church and our heart as an organization is to support christians around the world to confront the injustices of sexual exploitation and abuse, as well as seeking healing for those in sexual brokenness and addiction. If the church can live out the original design of sexuality, we believe she can offer hope with authority; to the lost and broken in our world. As long as she is silent, sexual sin will keep on breeding in the darkness of those ‘unspoken’ places and spiritually paralyze the Saints. “Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.” 1 Corinthians 6:18

Love always tells the truth. This is a truth we cannot ignore. The sexual condition of the church today is not very different to the world around it. We are called to look different, so we need to start this conversation! We need to trust for healing in the very dark places of very broken lives and hearts. What does that look like and where does it start?

That is our mission, at ORIGINAL DESIGN EDUCATION; to bring justice to God’s original design of sexuality and sexual intimacy.

We know that sex trafficking is the main business in the illegal trade of human beings. Sexual exploitation is the crisis of our generation. There are many organizations that are rescuing victims and doing prevention work with potential victims, there are also many who are working in government to put laws and legislations in place to protect society as a whole. Our main focus is the people within the church that are harming themselves by buying into this trade and feeding a monster that can only be satisfied by capturing more slaves. When a person buys sex (prostitution or pornography) it is not a sign of sexual health, it is a sign that something is wrong. It is a sign of a broken heart. We get emails and phone calls from around South Africa from people who are struggling with sexual brokenness; families and marriages are falling apart… We are sounding the alarm bells for CHANGE. But before change (REVIVAL) can come – we need to be honest about sexual sin in our churches, confess and repent. The Lord is calling for repentance from His Bride; so that there can be healing and restoration through His loving kindness and grace.

We hear this alarm bell, loud and clear, and are responding to the call.

Will you join us? We would love to hear from you!

Yours in Justice,

Morne and Chantelle Blokdyk
